ABOUT OUR STUDIO
2nd Floor Studio introduced a small one of a kind gift line in 1997. The original gift line established 2nd Floor Studio in the artisinal gift world. Over the years we have expanded both nationally and internationally. You may find our gift lines in galleries, shops, fine stationers and museums.
ABOUT OUR ARTIST
The designer Lisa Steinberg, is a Pratt Institute graduate. She began her career as a fashion artist and illustrator. Illustrating numerous covers for the book and magazine markets. Her love of design, history and collecting antiques, inspires her to design her various gift lines.
She has taught at Pratt and Parsons and currently is teaching in the Fashion Design Department of Philadelphia University. Additionally, she consults with many fashion companies and department stores.
Her collages begin from original letters, photos, postcards and other precious artifacts collected from past centuries. Each piece contains handmade papers, lush fabrics and the finest ribbons. Each gift is carefully worked by hand in our studio.

Our gift lines include: Baby, Wedding, Honeymoon, Judaica Collection(Bar/Bat Mitzvah And Judaica Family Life), Our Family Collection, Vintage Label Series and Customed Designed Work. Also, featured within our "What's New" section will be the newest additons to our gift lines.
Our hand made gift line is quite extensive. In fact, for each gift line one may choose from: Photo Albums, Photo/Scrap Albums, Photo Frames, Keepsake Boxes, Jewelry Boxes, Music Boxes, Recipe Boxes, Recipe Books, Telephone/Address Books and various Home and Baby Room Accessories. Furthermore all our boxes, home and baby room accessories are 100% wood.
For personalizations, rely on our artist to make that special occasion even more special. Contact us and we can convey the various alternatives of personalization available to you -including the use of your invitations, announcements and/or personal photographs. We also welcome your interest in our unique approach to corporate gifts.
